Just four days after The Amazing Spider-Man topped the DVD sales chart in just a couple of days, another summer blockbuster came out and took the top spot, Pixar's Brave. In fact, Spider-Man's opening was so front-loaded it actually wound up in fourth place this week. The two other new DVD releases, action thriller Savages and comedy The Watch, debuted solidly in second and third place (their box office performances were either middling or disappointing). Among holdovers, with the holidays in full swing, Arthur Christmas held onto the fifth spot, while Secret of the Wings and Madagascar 3 dropped to sixth and seventh, and The Campaign plunged to ninth after being in second for two straight weeks.
