I haven't kept up with my Entertainment News sections because life has gotten busier for me, but I can update you with some release date changes.
I had said earlier that Mr. Peabody and Sherman had moved to March 2014, while Me and My Shadow had been removed from the calendar. But they've made more changes. Kung Fu Panda 3 and Mumbai Musical switched dates, and are slated for December 2015 and March 2016 respectively. Finally, they pushed B.O.O. up three months to June 2015, while Trolls was bumped all the way to November 2016. I guess DreamWorks isn't ready for four movies a year yet, and Fox isn't ready for five animated films a year yet. The current slate for DreamWorks has Turbo left for 2013, Peabody, How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Happy Smekday! for 2014, The Penguins of Madagascar, B.O.O. and Kung Fu Panda 3 for 2015, and Mumbai Musical, How To Train Your Dragon 3 and now Trolls for 2016.
Blue Sky Studios, who releases Epic next week, is sticking to a one film a year strategy, and it doesn't look like we will be seeing Ice Age 5 anytime soon. They've set weird-titled projects such as Anubis for July 2016 and Ferdinand in June 2017 (the first movie slated for that year). Not much is known, but they sound interesting based on early plot details. Blue Sky has a sequel to Rio on tap for next year and an adaptation of Peanuts in 2015.
Disney Animation confirmed they will be teaming up with Marvel for Big Hero 6, which is now set for November 6, 2014. Besides that, the only other movie set by them is Frozen, which is out this Thanksgiving.
Finally, Pixar is hoping to do two films a year in 2015 with Pete Doctor's The Inside Out and the newly-announced sequel to Finding Nemo, Finding Dory for that year's Thanksgiving, though it wouldn't be surprising at all if the studio decided to move it to the summer of 2016. Pixar is getting set for Monsters University this summer, then they will release The Good Dinosaur next year.
Very little other news. Sony has picked up the distribution rights to an Angry Birds movie for a 4th of July weekend 2016 release date, while a 3D CGI version of Popeye has been removed from the calendar (it was originally set for September 2014).
