Movies Taken Seriously Turns 1

Approximately one year ago, on August 15, 2011 at around 6:30 PM, Movies Taken Seriously made its' debut on the web.  Three days ago, I took the blog off the web briefly to work on some renovations.  Personally, the black background was getting tiring, so I turned it into a more fresh and more colorful background.  Also I've amended the Family-Friendliness Scale slightly as well as the actual score and grade on each of the movies I have reviewed.  The labels for each post are also no longer seen below the blog title or at the bottom of each post.

So happy birthday blog!!!  And the celebrations aren't over yet.  Here is what is to come within the next couple of months:

---Seasonal Reviews and Previews (replacing the Monthly Reviews and Previews)
---More "Blog-Like" Posts (My Opinion On Upcoming Movies)
---More Polls (the current one about the new look runs through August 31)
---Top-Selling DVDs of the Week Posts (Fridays beginning September 7)

And there's also more ideas I'm working on, but, I'd rather not reveal them right now.  As usual, weekend predictions and reports will be on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons, and Weekly Movie Reviews on Thursday nights through Oct. 25, where it will once again take a hiatus during the Holidays.  With DVD posts coming soon, the Friday reports will now only be posted on seasonal occasions (such as extended weekends or when a movie that's expected to earn huge numbers opens).
