--As expected, Wrath of Man opened in first place, and pulled in a solid $8.1 million (moderate $2,817 per-venue average). That's a stronger debut than Nobody back in late-March, as well as other smaller action films of recent memory. It is true that more theaters are opening their doors, however (though capacity restrictions remain in place everywhere). For star Jason Statham, this is about on par with his other non-franchise work. The hard-R action flick also opened to a very good $17.6 million overseas for a $26 million worldwide launch.
--Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was off 52% in its third frame to $3.1 million, for a solid $39.6 million gross in 17 days. The anime hit could find its way to near $50 million stateside, on top of nearly $400 million earned overseas.
--Mortal Kombat continues to have a quick descent, off 62% to $2.4 million in its third weekend. The video game adaptation has earned $37.8 million in 17 days, along with another $35 million overseas. Looks like this will probably finish between $40 and $45 million stateside, in line with Wonder Woman 1984 among recent Warner Bros. efforts. Not a great number, but not horrible either given the circumstances.
--Godzilla vs. Kong is finding some late-run stability, off 32% in its sixth frame to $1.93 million. With $93 million in six weeks, the monster fest is looking to stretch to the $100 million mark. It is no longer on HBOMax, which could give it a boost there. It's also at $425 million worldwide so far.
--Expanding to additional theaters thanks to Disney's recent deal with Cinemark, Raya and the Last Dragon was up 35% in its 10th weekend to $1.87 million. With $43.8 million so far, the animated flick looks to leg it to $50 million stateside. In the meantime, it has one more weekend before its Blu-ray and DVD release on May 18.
--Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish opened in seventh place with their Sony dramedy Here Today. It pulled in $900,000 from 1,200 locations (modest $750 per-venue average). Not terrible for a movie that was added to the release schedule less than a month ago.

-Nobody was off 41% to $760,000, for a solid $24.6 million gross in seven weeks.
-The Unholy was down 32% to $730,000, for a solid $14.2 million gross in six weeks.
-Tom and Jerry was off 20% to $426,000, for a $44.8 million gross in 11 weeks.
