--Godzilla VS. Kong held the top spot for a third-straight week, and it did hold better than last weekend, off 43% to $7.8 million. In 17 days, it has earned $80.7 million, and will hope to hold stronger down the line to get past $100 million stateside (it has two weeks left on its HBOMax exclusive run). Worldwide, its' at $390 million, and should be on its way to at least $450 million.
--Nobody held the second spot, and was off just 6% to $2.5 million (and that's with its VOD debut this past weekend). Its' earned $19 million in 24 days, and looks to end its' run north of $25 million.
--The Unholy repeated in third, and was off just 15% to $2.05 million, for a solid $9.6 million pick-up in 17 days. The horror flick is playing better than expected and now could find its' way to $15 million stateside. Not bad for a barely-marketed, low-budget flick.
--Raya and the Last Dragon was right behind the horror flick, and was off just 13% to $1.9 million, for a $37.7 million pick-up in seven weeks of release. It may shoot for $45 million if it continues to show Croods-style legs.
--Tom and Jerry jumped up a spot to fifth place in its eighth weekend, and was off just 8% to $1.1 million. The Warner Bros. flick is at $42.6 million in 56 days, and is going to try to stretch to $50 million stateside. It's also at over $100 million worldwide.
Here's what's going on in the rest of the Top 10:
-Voyagers was off 44% in its sophomore frame to $779,000, for a $2.5 million pick-up in 10 days.
-The Girl Who Believes in Miracles was flat with last week at $556,000, for a $2 million gross in 17 days.
-Horror flick In the Earth opened to $505,000 in eighth ($924 per-venue average).
-The Courier was flat with last week at $440,000, for a $5.5 million pick-up in one month.
-The Croods: A New Age jumped back into the Top 10 for a 20th non-consecutive week(!) It was up 25% to $305,000, for a $57.1 million pick-up in 21 weeks.
