(NOTE: There was no report last week, so I'm going to have to assume a few chart debuts rather than what position they were last week).
Last week, it was reported that Prometheus had taken the top spot from The Avengers, but due to no official Top 10 report, it was Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted that easily took the top spot the following week, followed by Prometheus and Avengers. Adam Sandler comedy That's My Boy opened in fourth place, while horror flick Chernobyl Diaries debuted in fifth, Moonrise Kingdom debuted in seventh and Rock of Ages in eighth (it was on DVD last week). One notable jump on the chart, Avatar returned to the Top 10, charting in ninth this week.
